Overview:   The Staff Software Engineer is responsible for building the software that enables our digital care management platform, while providing technical leadership that differentiates Wellframe’s business capabilities. They accomplish this by working closely with other engineers, product managers, designers and data scientists. Staff Software Engineer sits within the Engineering department and reports to a Senior Director, Engineering. Success in this role is demonstrated by a consistent ability to reduce the complexity of projects, leadership of broad architectural work that unlocks new capabilities for the business, and a skill for coming up with improvements that increase the overall productivity of the engineering team.    What you will do: - Provide technical leadership of web development across Scrum teams to improve product quality and development velocity. (20%) - Stay up to date with industry frontend best practices and identify new capabilities that can be unlocked by emergent technologies or techniques. - Continuously improve frontend architecture to build a scalable, reliable and performant web frontend - Lead a guild of web developers to establish, prove, and enhance front end development patterns, standards, tools, and reusable components. - Establish a culture and practice of building flexible and reusable web components. - Mentor and educate teams on established standards and best practices. - Provide technical leadership for the Care Manager Experience full-stack web development team.
